My name is Lorenzo, and I am your typical guy. I play football for The University of Houston at twenty-two years old and love it. Football has been my sport since I was a little turd running around with my cousins playing touch football.

I made it a career and got a full-ride scholarship to one of the best colleges. My family is proud of me, and I have great friends and teammates. There are only a few select people that know I am gay. I am not ashamed of being gay, but it is not the only thing about me, so it is on a need-to-know basis. Some of the guys on the team are fine with it, and I have had the pleasure of having my head between their legs on several occasions.

That is how this whole thing with the Alpha athlete happened after practice. He is a handsome Latino like myself and captures my attention one hundred percent of the time we are around each other.

He has the abs, arms, legs, and body of a God, not to mention his handsome face with dimples just like Mario Lopez's. Can you blame a guy for admiring such a beautiful creation? I didn’t think so.

It all happened on a Thursday after practice. I practiced my catching a little as everyone else ran off to shower. Antonio was in my sight when his helmet came off to show his handsome face and dimples. We all huddled up and did our end-of-practice chant before being dismissed. “Hey Renzo, are you coming to shower?” Carlton asks.

“No, I will practice catching with the machine for a bit. I’ll catch up with you.” I tell him, giving him a pat on the shoulder. He shrugs and runs to catch up with some of our buddies.

From the corner of my eye, Antonio looks at me and smiles. My stomach flutters at the sight of him looking at me and smiling. We are teammates and talk occasionally, but don’t spend time alone. He is the quarterback, and I am one of the wide receivers, so we have a good relationship on the field. We share praises and encourage one another like teammates usually do.
